The Advantage of Aluminium Alloy Low Pressure Casting
Aluminium Alloy Low Pressure Casting can be used sand, metal, graphite type, etc. The filling process is different from both Metal Casting and gravity casting such as Sand Casting, and also different from high pressure high speed filling pressure casting, with the following advantages.
1) pure metal liquid filling, to improve the purity of the casting. As the slag generally floats on the surface of the metal liquid, low-pressure casting is achieved by filling the metal liquid from the lower part of the crucible through the rising tube, completely avoiding the possibility of the slag entering the cavity of the casting.
2) Smooth filling of the metal liquid, reducing or avoiding the tumbling, impact and splashing of the metal liquid during filling, thus reducing the formation of oxidation slag.
3) Casting formability is good, the metal liquid under pressure, can improve the liquidity of the metal liquid, is conducive to the formation of clear contours, surface clean casting, for large thin-walled castings of the molding is more favorable.
4) Aluminum alloy castingsunder pressure crystallization solidification, can be fully complementary shrinkage, casting organization dense.
5)The yield of the metal liquid is improved, generally there is no need for a riser, and the uncondensed metal in the riser can be returned to the crucible and used repeatedly, so that the yield of the metal liquid is greatly improved, the yield is generally up to 90%.
